Commentary:

Here we have colored outlines. A lot of things use colored outlines. I personally think Grumble looks pretty good with them. But readers were not really fans of it so I dropped it.

And look, a callback to a more innocent time. Purple knows that being a pirate means swimming with people standing on his head.
