Commentary:

Speaking of off model, look at the speaker in the last panel. These guys are playing music on a turntable because cassettes haven’t been invented in Grumbletown yet. The level of technology varies wildly around the world, and even in different parts of a single location. I don’t know how common contact between the different continents actually is, but technology doesn’t seem to spread very much.

If you can read these lyrics, you can tell that I don’t actually know anything about writing music.
