Grumble

Commentary:

This short adventure is the first real foray into a continuing connected storyline that spans multiple pages. This would later become the main style of the comic, but at this point I don’t think I actually had any plan. I certainly hadn’t planned out anything that happens later on in the main story when I was doing this. Most of that I make up as I go along anyway. I liked the gag-a-day style, and I sometimes wish I could go back to doing the comic this way, but I’m a little too far into the storyline to back out now.
