Commentary:

Oh no, a new thing is happening. Here we see the first glimpse of a new villain, Lime (who has the wrong number of teeth here), and the first occurrence of the color-based Oversea language. This one isn’t based on any real world alphabets like the other ones, but on ideas I got from reading the constructed scripts page on Omniglot, a really great place if you’re into that kind of stuff.

Like the other lettering at this point, I did not start out doing it by hand, but rather had a Flash file where I had constructed and laid out all of the letters, and would then put them together and paste them into the comic. I don’t know if this is the hardest to decipher, but I know that it does cause a lot of confusion sometimes, especially when the glyphs get more complicated on occasion.
