Grumble

Commentary:

Time passes very, very slowly in this comic. It has taken a year and a half since I started the comic for it to get to winter. Later, during the larger ongoing story part of the comic, a single day might take a hundred pages or more to cover. As I’m writing this, I’ve been doing this for five years, and only a few months have passed in the comic itself.

Green’s hat here is the first time I used a pattern to color something. I occasionally did this to other things later, sometimes to an absurd extreme, but it’s pretty rare still at this point.
